"Doing what you want to do", or even "doing what you want to do without caring much about world opinion". Is a pretty large are of possible things. Even if you narrow it to "non-defensive military action that isn't supported by most of the world", there is still a big difference between Iraq (and many other non-popular military actions) and starting WWII in Europe (while also running death camps). Defining actions as being like Ghandi or like Hitler is a rather unusual and artificial way of categorizing things and not a very useful one IMO. Tim
