Of course, if he does, Sharon will have had nothing to do with it. He will have been "the right wing idiot that got lucky." No, I think the left in Israel thinks that Arik has seen the light. Remember Yoel Marcus' praise the other day? The Israeli blogger Imshin always called Yoel Marcus "the thickest of the Ha'Aretz don't-get-its" with good cause imo, but now even he thinks Arik has come over to their side. Sharon hasn't, of course. Barnea is right, he remains a pragmatic hawk, and Marcus will be calling him an idiot again soon enough.
