David, it is bothersome because the blue states are funding the red states. Arnold needs to fix this. If the red states were self-reliant, it would be less bothersome and I would agree with you. Not that your premise is accurate, but why would THAT have ANYTHING to do with it? This is some of the most convoluted reasoning I've seen on this thread. "The blue states pay more of the costs of the nation's upkeep, THEREFORE the blue states should be allowed to control the law in the red states"? I can't believe you actually said this. Maybe you want to think about it a bit and withdraw this statement? Hint: Constitution.

Amy, you really don't believe that DR would care even if he agreed to the fact that the blue states pay in more to the National Treasury and get less back than the red states. First, red voters don't admit to any weakness or mistake. Hello. Where have you been for the past 4 years under Bush? Secondly, if they would allow their minds to think its true, they would laugh their butts off.....glad they were able to screw the blue states. They like nothing better than to screw their fellow Americans, particularly a blue American. People like DR are arrogant and narcissistic. They believe they are smarter and better even when they are not.......and they are not. Its the whole civil war thing all over again. That conflict was never resolved to the satisfaction of the South. And in the 150 so years since the war, we invented AC which made it possible for a lot more people to live in the South and for them to screw like bunnies. And that's how they are giving it to the blue states.......they can control the national vote just by sheer numbers even though many of them are not paying their way. Ironically, the two best states in the South, TX and FLA, have their own unique twists, and of course, are controlled by the Bushes. None of this suggests a great scenario for the blue states. Which leads to the question: how much will we put up with before we call it quits? How long do we allow the lesser educated, less aware part of the country to lead us by the nose? The blue staters have got to get off their butts and decide what they're going to do and then do it. Think about it.....we are funding the bulk of a war we did not want nor thought should be fought because the red states have more people who vote. And you know it ain't going to get any better. In fact, its going to get much worse.........downright ugly worse. ted
