Its not surprising that you have not found an answer - there aint one. Are you sure? Say you are 75 years old and slated for jury duty. The court you a questionaire to fill out. One of the questions asks your annual income. You have $15K from SS and no other income. But you liquidate about $300K each year from your $10 million in assets to accommodate your lifestyle. What number would you provide in response to the survey's question? $15K? $315K? Some other number?
