They did just that in Hong Kong during the SARS epidemic, if memory serves.....(killed the poultry...I don't think chicken farming is a major industry on the money rock!<G>)

i wonder how drastic the governments could get in places like Vietnam. would they kill all the poultry and outlaw chicken farms?

The government of Vietnam has been taking fairly drastic actions in Vietnam. They have killed off millions of ducks, geese & chickens. I haven't heard anything about killing off cattle, though.
