You really tried hard to explain it to me...I appreciate that. But after reading your post twice I still don't see the difference, unless it is to protect heterosexuals feelings that gays using the term marriage somehow cheapens the meaning of their marriage.

So far there have been all kinds of gay marriages performed in Hawaii, California and Mass., and you know what it hasn't cheapened my marriage one single bit. In fact in the last year me and Mrs. Orca have grown even closer than before. I'm wondering if all the gay marriage talk has got us to thinking how special marriage is...and how special our relationship is.
