I'd say it all blows over in short order. It's not just the GOP that falls victim to sexual blackmail. It happens to the Dems too.

Many, many of the rich and powerful have peverse sexual desires. Regular sex is just too easy for them to come by, and ceases to stimulate them anymore.

It's just funnier with the GOPers as they are so anti-gay in public.

My cousin's best friend married into a very wealthy right wing family, and she says her husband can't perform unless she spanks him while he calls her mommy. I'll bet the same occurs in wealthy left wing families too.

It's no surprise that the media doesn't carry this stuff. Clinton was fair game because he just got a blowjob from a woman. Nothing perverse. Bill was guilty of having a healthy sexual appetite. Now, I can't say I blame him with Hillary on the other side of the matrimonial bed.

Net of it all is that it's easy for a focused group to use these proclivities to blackmail the politicians when money doesn't work. Ever see "Eyes Wide Shut"?
