But now many of the very same people saying we should be the world cop were saying a few years ago that we had no business being one. Something changed, and it wasn't just 9/11.. Yep. And many of the same people who said it was our obligation to go into Africa and stop the genocide there and stop the torture and rape and murder are now saying we were wrong to do just that for Iraq. You must be mighty young still if you retain any vestige of belief that popular opinion on either left or right in the US has any obligation to consistency.
