Re: That's too bad. BUT, he was from Syria, so he was returned to Syria.

Kay, you are absolutely indecent. How in the world can you be so revoltingly callous about a situation you seem to be so completely oblivious about? It really is shameful what dumb GOP babes like you don't care to learn.

Arar, the Canadian software engineer was not suspected of being a terrorist. He was mixed up with his brother who was the correspondent of someone else who was suspected of being a "terrorist".

This completely innocent man and his family have gone through two years of hell on earth because indecent, corrupt and immoral a__es like you refuse to see George Bush for what he is, and he is an odious criminal.

With regard to the inmates at Guantanemo, you utterly fail, as is so typical of bantam-weight bimbos like you to learn the facts. That wretched facility holds hundreds of men who has absolutely nothing to do with "terror(TM)". These men and boys were caught up in a dragnet when the Americans offered bounties to Afghan mercenaries and headhunters. What the Americans got was a whole lot of people who are just as much a terrorist as you are. Because they were caught up in a vicious circumstance where anything from being at the wrong place at the wrong time to tribal reprisals to sexual jealousies could send a man off to a Hell on Earth.

You Republicans are really repulsive. So simple-minded, vulgar, ill-read and lame-brained that it is infuriorating.

Unconstitutional is running on the Sundance channel this month-not sure if it is out on DVD-You might want to check it out, you may not care for the views expressed in the film but at the very least it should give you some perspective on how some on the left are viewing changes made in this country since 9/11 affecting both domestic and foreign policy in regards to civil rights and those held in custody by our government. My fav quote from the film is from Mark Twain-"Support your country always-support your government only when they deserve it"
