What we need is to find some common ground with the disaffected liberals out there. After all Woodrow Wilson was a democrat as was FDR and Reagan started out as one as did I. Lincoln was a Republican as was TR. This administration is not without fault and frankly if we had direct election of the President Al Gore might still be President. I think all of us should get on that bandwagon of either reforming or abolishing the Electoral College and going to direct election. We cant afford another episode like 2000 and even 2004 could have been reversed by 50,000 souls in Ohio. 1960, 1968, & 1976 were also candidates for minority presidents. mike
