iPod Camera Connector revealed at Apple briefing
Feb 27 - 3:00 pm EST Representatives from Apple Japan on Friday held a press briefing on the company's new iPod offerings, a couple of tipsters have told AppleInsider. The presentation included a keynote slide with (what appears to be) a photo of Apple’s new iPod Camera Connector.

iPod Photo dongle and Belkin Media Reader for iPod

Problem: both of the above items plug into the iPod's power slot, meaning neither of them can be used while the iPod is plugged into the grid, meaning even a fully charged iPod Photo runs out of juice before completing a 4GB card ingest. Absolutely idiotic.

P.S. The Epson P-2000 seems to be a better portable image storage solution:
