Thanks for the info, I didn't realize St. Paul was the first Pope. Have there always been Popes since Jesus' time, then? In other words, can you start with Paul and the year and work your way up to the present with known Popes the whole way?

And I just had a problem, I was going to say start at the year 33 AD, but if BC is before Christ and AD is after Death (??), then what do you call the 33 years when he was alive? Do I have the English for AD wrong?

Exactly, but I would express it as a significant percent of the Muslim population has not accepted the idea of a separation of church and state, and in fact do not want them separate. Church is the way of life, and state is something the outside world is forcing on them.
