wonder what ever happen with that ship that took out some kind of contaminant soil or by product and got refused dumping privileges around the world.

i remember our public beaches loaded with feces back in 50's. those were the days outflow would come in with the tide and they never took water samples. We have come a long way in cleaning up the water from those years.

I hadn't even given foreign vessels a thought since CC seemed to want to concentrate entirely on cruises and Americans who take them.

I'm not sure there is one cruise line or steamship line registered under the American flag. Maybe she should be taking her complaints overseas?

And I will certainly take your advise about swimming near foreign ports if the occasion ever arises.
