OFF TOPIC: Best bet when playing in the Drop-D tuning is to bar the fifth fret bottom strings--this will give you your G chord; barring the bottom strings of the second fret will give you E chord; the third fret, of course, F chord.

It's a very great, very powerful, tuning for guitar.
