I also wonder if there could suddenly be enough production of interferon-alpha to treat everyone -

the good thing is that some diseases, like leukemia and aids related sarcomas, require far higher doses than some others, like hepatitis C. it would make sense that an influenza would be easy work for interferon. if low doses work, it's much more likely that enough can be made. maybe henry has an idea
