lorne, there are many things that Americans like here (born and raised here) are learning about, including Islam. But Americans like myself, have had the experience of such things and have even personally witnessed many things that you may yet have to hear about.

And it is based on these experiences that we form our opinions and philosophies. I believe is a classless society (a society which is classless economically as well as religiously). Why. Because I have witnessed people kill in the "name of religion".

America experienced killing in the "name of religion" for the first time on 9/11. We did so when we were very young. similarly did people in Europe and Russia. That is why I find it peculiar that someone like Bush thinks he can go and lecture those in Europe and Russia, who are more experienced than he and his evangelical friends are.
