I once wrote a letter to the editor criticizing the infamous Randy Ort about it -- they totally bungled it. A local civil engineer told me this is one of the first places in the country where they tried this four traffic signal approach, before the idiots figured it wouldn't work. If you haven't been here in a while, you ought to see the "Big Dig" we've got going on down there now. Your government at work... A huge mess every day when the races are over.
