But they were already crappy :o) PEY.UN is as you know the cult of the RLI... FET has always been crappy yield since I've known it.. And ZAR.UN well ya got one on me there :O) I didn't really disagree, just saying you cannot paint them all with a broad stroke... I know many Americans that post here own AVN.UN, AE.UN , PWI.UN , ERF.UN and PMT.UN ... I wonder how many own those stodgy yields... except I'll grant you Peyto which I still think is an odd bird ... Owners of that one never tout yield... they tout RLI and exploration possibility ... I do not think the sky is falling though... I mean look @ COS.UN... talk about a crappy yield... Think it will sell off ? with Don Coxe indirectly touting it... ? That story as you know is just starting to make the rounds on your side of the 49th.. I think (hope) we get back to more normal times for trusts... I hope they come down...but of course they are big news up here now and they will pay even better... Also looks like BOC will not be raising rates anytime soon... (BTW Loonie ? Par Schmarr ;O) while on your side who knows... also supportive mid term I think... In the next few weeks though, no I wouldn't stick my neck out too far... I PMed another mutual net acquaintance of ours that likes trusts... He stated he has been moving his out of his IRA's into non registered accounts... not selling mind you he knows what he is doing with these... newbies could panic though... Got Cash ? regards B
