I wonder how Cramer managed those returns considering his calls on the Nets in 2000?

Quite simple actually. The infamous call was made in late January. About a month and several hundred more Nasdaq points later, he said okay, this is getting out of hand, time to start pulling out. (But of course, since he's Cramer, nobody remembers that.)

His hanging it up at the end of 2000 probably helped, too.
