Hi IHSC, I daytrade only rarely, but I use mostly real time charts through one of my brokers. I think probably AskResearch real time charts are pretty cheap, maybe StockCharts is about the same, not sure. If I didn't have the chart service I have, I would probably subscribe to one of those. T

GDP came in this morning slightly higher than expected (3.8% vs. 3.7%). Index futures traded down a bit on the news. Oil still trading above $51. Looks like the markets will open flat or slightly up. T

Esignal is good. I get realtime streaming quotes through Scottrade and like them. Interactive brokers is cheap and good for daytraders.

IHSC, I use several brokers and use their quote service and chart service. I also have an arrangement with a vendor from Canada who supplies quotes to many brokerages and I have a real-time feed from them as well via special arrangement that will soon be available through my website. If you are just interested in real-time index quotes for free I would suggest that you sign up for a Scottrade account and just don’t fund the account if you are satisfied with your current broker. You will be able to access real-time java-based streaming quotes and charts. Their charts are not good for the type of trading I do but their streamer is very good. Reid
