You are correct in all that you said in your post. But what you left out is that Bush got us into the mess in the first place. He did not listen to the nations of the world or rather he did not care for what they had to say. Now it is going to be very difficult for them to hear what Bush has to say. That is human nature.

So here in comes the difference. Kerry would have had better luck with the leaders than what Bush is having even though as you rightfully say both of them have the same plan for Iraq.

And lastly while Kerry would have looked out for the interest og our soldiers first, Bush on the other hand is looking to get deeper into others' affairs with him lecturing others during his recent European tour. You think Putin is going to bow down under him?
