Hey, BushBaby got saved by a bunch of old white guys in a Methodist bible discussion group in Midland. Apparently they told him that it was perfectly ok to drink like a fish for two decades, threaten Poppy with a knock down, lie, cheat and be a putz all your adult life as long as you were a.... REPUBLICAN. If you're a liberal, a progressive or a Democrat you have to be squeaky clean in every single aspect of your life. Apparently, their Bible says that if you're sufficient greedy and immoral all other activities are unimportant so HAVE FUN! After all, there is no reason to think that every group reads from the same book even when they say they do.
