Their capitalistic instincts would indicate a promising future if the government would ever get their act together The government is what you see and blame. The culture is what creates the government that doesn't work. "Me against my brother, my brother and I against the family, the family......." Thanks for the description.

let me tell you a little about Africa. Specifically, the Nations of Cameroon, Nigeria, Gabon, Ghana, Sao Tome and Principe and Equatorial Guinea. These nations form the nexus of what is called the "Gulf of Guinea" nations. Lots of untapped oil there. if the government would ever get their act together. You could select nearly any African government and overlay it on nearly any other African country and find a near 100% fit. The political problems are massive across the entire continent. Glad to hear you found a pro-American attitude. Also appreciate your efforts to assist the locals. Thanks, uw
