My point is that if one is to charge unfunded liabilities to the consumers for one business (nuclear power generation, for example), it should be done for all, and that includes green businesses (like the tax supported wind generators, for example). Otherwise, it's a "heads I win, tails you lose" proposition.

Which is why I brought up tobacco. Isn't it the case that tobacco consumers are paying for the unfunded liabilities of the tobacco companies? Your post suggests that we either ought to start a campaign so that all companies follow the tabacco model or that we ought to change the tobacco model so that those consumers aren't paying for the unfunded liabilities. Which do you propose?
