A lot of pop science in a lot of areas is being treated as serious study.

Well, I wouldn't expect most journalists to be able to tell the difference.

Nor, to be honest, would I expect even a Ph.D. economist to be up to speed on neuroanatomy.

I just wish his remarks didn't remind me so much of the "What Kind of Dog Are You?" test that had the thread enthralled earlier this week.
