Many Americans went into "shock and awe" when they thought they were the only remaining superpower in the world, and then here comes along a bunch of rag tag folks living out of a cave who easily penetrated the US armor and brought down the edifice to US commercial power. All this while the US President sat reading the story of Pet Goats to some high school kids.

They voted that US President back into office to show off their pride. Now we have Bush trying his best to get European support. Mr Bush, remember what Kerry said. The Europeans do not want to deal with you.

I am sure US past glory will be restored when we have a "real" President. A president who would not draw a posse of security forces in the countries he/she visits but instead a red carpet welcome. A President who can let Colin Powell go but keep Rumsfeld and elevate Rice is in for trouble for the next 4 years with the American people.
