I know we're armed to the teeth with nukes. Because I was born and raised here I have a faith in our leadership, culture and stability that those weapons wont be used except in absolute defense after what we did in Japan. I don't know that we gave Israel its nuclear arsenal. For some reason I thought it was a combination of countries that included France. I know we made mistakes in our dealings in the ME and I would like to atone for those mistakes. We are not a perfect country nor have we made perfect decisions. But I'm deeply concerned about the long-term future and safety of the globe if Iran gets nukes that can go places. I'm less interested in finger pointing than I am in addressing the issue we face as a global community and moving forward
