I was stunned by how cruel that particular show was. I have lost much of my taste for AI over it. That and the fact that I haven't been able to get excited over any of the contestants this year. Some, including your Carrie, who seems like the one to beat, are very talented but no one has grabbed and shaken me as in each of the previous years. I adored Kelly and Clay from their first auditions. This year, eh!

The results show should have been half an hour. There wasn't enough material to fill and hour and hearing the judges repeat the same lame comments four times was boring. But when Ryan asked Melinda, who was obviously in shock and at some risk, such a stupid question, then had her sing, that was just too much for me. I have been OK with Simon's brutal critiques because tough feedback is part of the biz, but I found this last show sadistic.

Oh, yes, Mikalah. She's like fingernails on the chalkboard to me. (I get a headache from even a quick channel surf through The Nanny.)

SI would be a boring place if the cape wasn't flashed often...Great comment, LB! LOL!

I wasn't going to post on this subject, but I couldn't resist the cape you passed in front of me.
