Yes, Imatron was a story stock. (I even have hand charts that I drew on IMAT---keep everything.)

I am learning something new here----calcium scam machines---did not know of these. And, even a family picture with ye ole dog!

I did do a heart scan in D.C. because I wanted to see what they were selling-----only one-----good news was that I was okay. My internist was on the leading edge of looking at new ideas so approved it and the insurance company paid----much to our surprise.

Scans like the open MRI's were very much in question by the mainstream medical profession in this area. However, now the open MRI's are fairly routine. And, imo if done early in the process of diagnosing can save lives.

I must read the article from the WSJ-----sounds like "the medicine man with salves and ointments come to town".
