I didn't see Hemingway, we stayed in one of the cabins at the end of a sand road and couldn't see the main drag. No businesses on the Key so no reason for him to stop. Who I did see frequently at a distance was Ted Williams. He did a lot of fishing for bonefish in the off season and had a place there. He was as good with a fly rod as he was with a bat. When we'd go to Marathon the dock would have several huge tarpon hanging in the sun. After the picture taking they were tossed off the dock and floated out to where the sharks ate them. What a waste.
