Honestly - I do. He has a radar gun and I have found that on more than one occasion I have been let off because I was honest. I haven't had a ticket in more than 10 years and yet I've been stopped about 5 times. In each case he asked me if I knew how fast I was going. In each case I said that I was going XX miles per hour and that I just wasn't watching my speed close enough. I also added that I apologized and that I'm trying to keep my nose clean (ie a good driving record) It Works What doesn't work is trying to lie or becoming combative
