Yes, I try to be. My mileage logs are not always up to date but I do my best. As an independent contractor I run a higher risk of audit so I have to be. Now I take advantage of every deduction and loophole I can find by thats fair. I am under NO OBLIGATION to pay any more in taxes than the absolute legal minimum.
