that's the point. congress did not declare war . now the checks and balances that would hav existed don't exist. no way to stop captain ahab or his habitual megalomania. congress is just plain gutless.

"If anyone is tried for any crimes, they'd have to try our whole Congress too." That is actually not a bad idea... If they aren't guilty of that, they probably are of something else. Being Congesscritters and all.
