"Mere exposure does not equate to toxicity; it's the dose that makes the poison"
Basic principle of toxicology

This is from your post. Haven't we said that? somebody's spouse dying because of the dose?

And then Dipy's point about waiters & waitresses, airline stewards & stewardesses and restaurant patrons are exposed to secondary smoke every day they come to work?

So the American Lung association has been hoodwinked? Smoking and second hand smoke is perfectly safe?

I can tell you that if I was in a smoky casino for 4 hours...and I could not stand to be in there that long, my nose would be running and my throat and lungs would be feeling discomfort.

Maybe it's because I run every day. I like my lungs clean and pink...thank you very much. And why should I put up with irritated, eyes, nose and throat and lungs...just so you can sit in a public place and stink up my air?
