I thought Blood Alley was around Pacheco Pass.

The big curve in the highway right at the bottom of my hill was called Hell's Half Acre. When they were kids, the neighbor boys (my age) used to sit out on the rocks and wait for crashes

BTW,
I meant the real bumper cars at the boardwalk

:-)

THe real blood alley was the old Monterey Road between San Jose and Morgan Hill...............before the 101 was extended to connect the two cities.

IT was a four lane highway with no divider. The commute traffic was a joke. IT was full of stoplights so the commute time was quadrupled if compared to what it is now.

THe SF Bay area commute is the worst in the nation.
