I didn't bother to watch the Academy Awards (which I call the Narcissist Admiration Awards), but Fox covered a pretty funny quip by Chris Rock, which proves Michael Moore's impotence. Not an exact quote, best I can do from memory: "George Bush did something that nobody else could do! He reapplied for his job when there was a movie in every theatre in the Country telling about how much he sucked at that job." There was a lot of nervous laughter in the hall, and the delivery was pretty funny, but not as funny as the fact that Bush got the job he reapplied for in spite of all the crap flung at him during the election. Rock then went on to draw a comparison of what would have happened if an employee from GAP applied for his job after starting a war with BANANA REPUBLIC that resulted in a thousand employees getting killed. That joke was not funny at all, and I think veterans would be offended.
