I think that taxpayer support of sports teams is outright crazy. On top of that the teams get free publicity and their own discrete section of the newspaper while other businesses pay for their adds. Hopefully the public will someday wise up. Will

There is one thing that makes the Arlington situation a lot different from most of the cases we were discussing - the fools who live in Arlington got a chance to vote one way or the other. Will
