Thanks, Goldsheet. That also explains part of the discrepancy. Canada leads in crude imports by the US, but the margin is increased if total petroleum products are considered. I did not realize Mexico was in second place. Now all the US has to do is develop ANWAR and provide some employment for the Alaskans who live in that area and want the development. Again, though, it is the do-gooders from outside who know better how to save the world as they fly from point to point in their private jets, burning more than their share of a diminishing oil resource.
