They sure did take a big hit on this. This is a prime example of how difficult it is to "hold" a stock in the biotechs/pharmac. area.

Elan went from around 27 to where it is now 8.00 plus a few cents in three days.

Terry, would the chart of Elan have predicted this slide a week ago or several weeks ago?

I ask the question so that a charting lesson can be learned if there is one to learn here.

This whole idea of blocking inflammatory pathways is misguided imo. Period. We need inflammation in order to fight pathogens. It would be better if they found the viral/bacterial source of diseases like MS and treated the cause not the symptoms. Same for Cox-2 inhibitors although chronic pain is something that may be worth the risk of nothing else works, but those were way too widely prescribed.
