There are a number of players in mask production, US and foreign. I see. I'm talking the equipment the mask production companies buy from AMAT in order to make the masks. I think that is the most advanced product in the semi manufacturing process. I was familiar with ETEC systems back in 1999 (since bought by AMAT), and their new machine sold for $15 million each, then! That machines could make 0.25 masks (old age now). The mask production companies (PLAB, etc.) have to buy these machines from AMAT in order to make a mask (that's what the machines does).
