That's why I don't go to bars and haven't for a long time. Last time I went out on New Year's Eve (circa 1982), I thought I was gonna die just trying to break up a fight I had nothing to do with ... then the police came and arrested nobody even though a guy was lying bleeding like crazy in the parking lot and there were plenty of witnesses.

Those reporters were being fed info by Special Branch, so we should consider the source. Besides, what's wrong with a little smuggling anyway? Our country was founded by smugglers and tax resisters! The identities of the killers is known, it's baffling that they're just not hauled in. IRA has to do more than just 'court martial' these guys, whatever that means. They need to turn them over. This is costing them A LOT of support. And after they turn them over, they need to do a SERIOUS examination of who they're letting in. Used to be an IRA man was expected to attend Mass, I guess those days are over. I have tickets to see the Wolfe Tones next week, I wonder if it will be considered bad form if they sing some of those old IRA ballads...
