The Kennedy summer home was in Palm Beach, which is seperated by the intracoastal waterway (known as Lake Worth) from West Palm Beach. I trespassed on their land a couple of times to go snorkeling.

Palm Beach is a thin sliver of land maybe 15 miles long and at best a mile and a half wide. I was born in and grew up in WPB. WPB is the county seat of Palm Beach County, which is about 50 by 40 miles altogether.

I lived in Palm Beach for a while after finishing my schooling and getting a real job, and it's a pretty neat place. It is incredibly secure, no crime at all. And eerily quiet ... I used to go jogging in the evenings and see no signs of life whatsoever, except for the foxes that infested the island.

Though it is very racist and has a history of anti-semitism. The police are pretty fascist.
