If the shoe fits, wear it. If it doesn't, then point out how it doesn't. Pretty simple, really.

"It appears to me you would like to introduce intellectual tyranny as American. And any dissent as un-American. "

That is how I read your statement: "C. The people in other countries who are offended by America sharing the possibility of freedom to tyrannized people are not America's friends."

Your statement appears to be pretty black and white to me. It doesn't differentiate between our cause and our tactics. Just the blanket statement that anyone who doesn't like what we are doing is wrong. It's a pretty totalitarian statement. That is my point. Now if you want to address my point, then do it. If you want to continue with your little cat and mouse games, I'm not interested.

PS. Jewell's response was far suerior to yours, in that he actually addressed a point I made.

Hey Mark! Here is more of P.D's intellectual civil posts :)

<If free enterprise haters like you controlled America, Canada would be in a world of hurt. There would be not strong trading partner on an adjacent border. Who would buy your oil, natural gas, and coal? There would be no space program to contribute your robotic arms to. Etc>

This a good one...

<Wonder why Canadians are snickered at? No one denies that once America committed to WWII Canada joined the fight. I suspect they also assisted in WWI.

That was sixty years ago. What has Canada done lately to promote peace and freedom?

You may view attacking America for trying to end a tyranical brutal dictatorship as a contribution in the cause for freedom. We do not.

We prefer cordial relations with Canada, but they are not essential. People like you do not promote cordiality. I have investments in Canadian firms, and if US money is not good enough, then perhaps we should all sell our Canadian stocks. It would cause a collapse of your stock markets, but hey, what are friends for if not to hurt you and stab you in the back?>

This is a good one also....

<The bottom line is that Canada benefits from the Drug makers application of game theory in selling. At some time in the near future, Americans will refuse to finance the world's drug research. Then Canada (Europe, etc.) will be in for a major shock. Drug prices doubling and tripling over night.

I will save a special laugh for the freeloaders who are dosed with economic reality.>

OR...

<At least in the US the systems rations health care by some rational means. The Canadian system rationing works by eliminating those who cannot wait. Perhaps death is better than Canadian Health Care.>

LOL! What a piece of work!
