Mish we have a freezer and empty and stock it once a year but we do buy the hamburger and chicken I told you about that is a bit pricey but very high quality. Both free range and no additives or antibiotics.

I agree with you a smart shopper can save money. I did grin at your bacon example. Some of the bacon you see is 90% fat and and 10% lean. Some one needs to get those hogs on an exercise program. <g>
