I agree, sadly many young people dont see it that way. I was always conscious of savings and very adverse to debt. My great aunt bought me my first new car. Despite that, every month I put the equivalent of a monthly payment into a seperate CAR account. Then when it was time to buy another one I paid CASH and have all my life. The only debt I ever incurred was to buy a home and I paid that off as fast as I could. Those moneys the bank gets for interest became MY MONIES.haha. I suppose I didnt live as grand as I might have in my youth, but today, I have no real financial concerns, we do as we please and buy what we want. Really feels good to be financially secure. jdn
