Well, one thing about liberals, I'm happy for, is that Dean is now chairman. We need to keep both parties alive in order to keep the dialogue going. You know, I was invited to participate in a more conservative thread on SI, but I responded that I prefer this thread. Why? Because it's no fun debating people who agree with everything you have to say. By the same token, you don't learn anything from and you can't teach anything to people who don't have different opinions than yours.

Having said that, the only whining I hear is coming from liberals. From conservatives, I mostly hear gloating, myself included. And that's to be expected. You see, if conservatives are alot like me, then we've been complaining to our spouses for years how the morals in this country are going straight downhill and how accountability seems to be a thing of the past. So when the country voted Bush in as a statement of their disgust with liberals, whom they see as embodying the left-wing, gay, abortionist, atheist agenda, I had to cheer a little too, despite having voted for Kerry myself. Because I've been sick of the direction this country has been going in for awhile now. Bush is a little more extreme than I'd like, but I think he's better than a left-wing extremist like Dean or Hillary Clinton.

BTW, it's too bad about Hillary. I'd love to vote for a woman President, but I'd never vote for Hillary. Maybe Rice will run? Or my dream candidate is Guliani. He'd win for sure.

Ted, The liberal areas of this country tend to have less crime, divorce and murder than the more conservative areas.

Last time I checked, LA County had higher rates of crime, divorce, and murder than Orange County.

However, I say to you that if Hollywood is so out of touch with what people want, why is its product selling so well?

Because everybody wants to have more sex!!
