Gunner Palace Wins MPAA Appeal

On February 24th, Palm Pictures and Gunner Palace director Michael Tucker won their appeal against the "R" rating originally given to Gunner Palace by the MPAA Ratings Board. The film will be released on March 4th with a PG-13 enabling young people to hear the voices of American soldiers on the front-lines in Iraq without restriction. We are pleased that the MPAA Appeals board took the context of the language used in the film into consideration. By doing so, they have reaffirmed what we have heard from parents and teachers across the country: Americans want to hear the voice of the American soldier in this time of war.
