That's fine. I respect youngsters with an appreciation for the arts. Far from belittling, I noted only that it was unusual that kids would enjoy opera more than playing on a field.

Of course, as parents most of us hope our kids have the opportunity to experience many sources of fun and that ultimately a well rounded individual emerges.
