Fine.
I take it you aren't worried. Well, we'll see if it's a problem or not, in the time to come.

If we no longer produce much of anything, I'm not sure how comparative advantage is going to be applied. Would you like to explain how you see comparative advantage fitting in to a US that no longer manufactures anything? Do you fill one side of the scales with our "service" economy- in which we essentially service ourselves?

And what do you see us specializing in? I'm sure that China will be able to do anything we can do (and more) quite soon. They are gearing up at an amazingly fast rate (and our industry is really helping them out). I think the results will look like the Japanese industrial miracle- multiplied by 10X. I don't see much in that picture that is beneficial for the US.

I look forward to very specific comments by you on just what you expect us to have a comparative advantage in, and I will read your remarks in carefully.
