Hi Kemble >>I'll be able to get a better deal for something under $.99 a song<< I think Walmart has a 88c deal. Don't forget, you can rip music from your own CD collection to Apple's iTunes and transfer it to your iPod. Cost 0c. Napster wants you to think that ALL music must be purchased for 99c a song. Not true.

Best, Bill

8:31AM Apple Computer: iTunes Music Store Downloads Surpass 300 Million (AAPL) 44.50: Apple announces that music fans have purchased and downloaded more than 300 million songs from the iTunes Music Store. Additionally, the benefit single "Across the Universe," available exclusively on the iTunes Music Store, debuted as number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart making it the most successful exclusive digital track ever in its first week of release.

Bill :)

PS: Apple maintains that it makes very little in profit from the sell of music. Profit is derived from the iPod.
